NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED MEMBERS
The National Speakers Association has several awards and designations to recognize members’ professional competence, as well as their contribution to the profession.
CSP — Certified Speaking Professional
This is NSA’s only earned professional designation. It is earned through a combination of professional association, professional education, professional performance, and professional business management standards. A CSP is a dedicated professional with a proven track record of consistent speaking excellence.
CPAE — Council of Peers Award for Excellence — Speaker Hall of Fame
This is a lifetime award for speaking excellence and professionalism. Inductees are evaluated by their peers through a rigorous and demanding process.
Cavett Award
This is NSA’s most cherished award. It is presented annually to the member whose accomplishments over the years have elicited credit, respect, honor, and admiration from the association and the speaking profession, and whose actions (in terms of sharing, guiding and inspiring other members) most closely parallel the illustrious career of our founder, Cavett Robert, CSP, CPAE.
